United ground workers approve four year 29 percent raise pact

United Airlines ground workers from 25,000 ramp staff, ticket agents, security guards and food service employees ratified a labor agreement. The deal provides 29 percent total pay raises over four years, the first since 1994, and clears the way for broader company wage concessions.
