McMaster backs guilty finding in Odom case

South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster, on the campaign trail, says he believes former Aiken County prosecutor Anthony Odom is guilty of attempting to solicit a minor for sex. A Spartanburg jury had acquitted Odom on a related charge, while an Oconee County grand jury pressed forward with new charges based on an online chat of May 2006. Odom denies wrongdoing and has sued McMaster's office in a civil action now being challenged in federal court.
