Captor hid family in squalor with gambling house in Chester
Police say Danny Dove held his wife Tamara and two sons, ages 4 and 8, captive in a tidy room with poker tables and video gambling near the North Carolina line. The home showed maggots, waste, and a foul odor. The mother was drugged and not lucid. Dove, 45, faces multiple counts including distribution of drugs and child neglect. He remains jailed without bond and could face up to 40 years if convicted.
