Plane goes down off Myrtle Beach. pilot rescued
A Mooney MO20 crashed into the water about a half mile off the coast near Myrtle Beach around 5 p.m. Tuesday. The pilot, who took off from Myrtle Beach International Airport, ditched in the ocean and was saved. FAA will investigate. No other passengers were aboard.
