Alcohol blamed in death in Aiken County case
Aiken County Coroner Sue Townsend blamed lax DUI laws for highway deaths after the county recorded its 11th fatality of the year. William E. Taylor Jr. 42 of Wagener died when a car overturned on a dirt road. Ronald Dale Gleaton faces felony DUI charges. Friday, Davis Paul Lott 27 of Aiken died when his vehicle ran off Pine Log Road and struck trees.
