Multiple incidents reported by Aiken County agencies
A Graniteville woman said her juvenile son struck her causing bruises at their Gregg Street home. The boy was taken for evaluation at Aurora Pavilion. A Warrenville woman and a man argued and pushed in Green Acres Park Lane. the suspect left. Burglary reports emerged across Wagener Beech Island Warrenville Batesburg Leesville and Graniteville addresses. A Warrenville resident reported fraud involving a loan scam with prepaid cards and a supposed Indiana lender. Vehicle-related incidents included a missing license tag on Townsend Street and a bus driver dispute after a missed stop. A Langley Cemetery Road dispute involved a boyfriend choking and slapping a partner over a remote. A Williston man allegedly cursed at and irritated a Caro lina Outdoors employee over repair work. Other notes cited gunfire at Paces Run Apartments with no cooperation, license plate theft on Newberry Street, a threatened collection scam tied to a loan under a stolen SSN, a broken rear window on George Street, a possible trespass incident on York Street after Sprite purchase, and a roommate taking a 2002 Saturn without permission, causing a collision.

Body of Warrenville man recovered after weekend Lake Thurmond boating accident
The body of 44-year-old Danny Byers was found Tuesday afternoon after a boating accident Saturday night on Lake Thurmond. Three others were injured. the boat was recovered Monday night. Rescue efforts involved the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Columbia County Sheriff's Office, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
