International student earns degree at USC Aiken commencement
Neil Berment, arriving from Trinidad and Tobago, overcame financial and transition challenges to receive his bachelor’s in business management at USC Aiken commencement. About 350 diplomas were awarded by Chancellor Tom Hallman and USC President Andrew Sorensen, with honorary degrees given to Mim Woodring and Lew Perkins.

Aiken Regional Medical Centers celebrated the grand opening of its enhanced Emergency Department and 35 bed Intensive Care Unit as part of a 30 million expansion.
