Aiken First Steps Board pledges programs amid budget cuts

The organization would receive about 525000 under the House plan, less than half the 1370000 from two years ago. The group plans to prioritize education while trimming full day 4K and child care scholarships, with leaders urging continued support for health, early education, and Parents Take Action.
