Suspect surrenders in Aiken County sexual assault case
Alonzo M. Brown Jr. 29 of Tren ton surrendered to deputies after a 27 year old woman was abducted by a man who forced her to drive to Old Chalkbed Road and was later charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct. He is held at the Aiken County Detention Center. The assault occurred early Tuesday when the woman was riding with a friend in Graniteville. She fled to a church and then a nearby home for help as a sheriff’s search with a bloodhound team failed to locate the suspect.
