Veterans march protest after I-95 arrests in trek
About two dozen members of the Last Patrol protest group were arrested Saturday when they crossed into South Carolina on Interstate 95. They vow to walk the 199 mile South Carolina leg around the capitol in shifts, seeking an apology and pardon as they call attention to veterans issues. Captain Gary Karr said Gov Beasley cannot pardon. Public safety officials offered routing alternatives due to heavy traffic on 1 95.
