Former Aiken resident inducted into Carolinas Show Hunter Hall of Fame
Wil Mar David Billy Haggard Jr was honored posthumously at Bruce's Field for induction into the Carolinas Show Hunter Hall of Fame. Haggard, who died in 2004 after a riding accident left him a quadriplegic, was noted by son Bill Gard IV as a passionate sportsman who moved to Aiken for the local scene. His other son accepted on his behalf.
