Trilobal strawberry found at Gurosik's Berry Plantation
Edgefield County's Gurosik's Berry Plantation reports a world class trilobal strawberry weighing a quarter of a pound and four inches across. Grower Clyde Gurosik calls it a conjoined triplet with a single stem. The find coincides with Our Lady of Peace Church strawberry festival. The plantation grows Camarosa berries and dates back to 1981, also producing onions, asparagus, flowers, and hybrid blackberries.
