Suspect sought in fatal hit and run on Bel vedeir Clearwater Road
State troopers released the name and photo of Jimmy Daniel Sikes a 27 year old North Augusta man believed to be the driver of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee in a head on crash on Bel vedeir Clearwater Road around 750 pm Tuesday. The eastbound Ford 2012 driven by Barry Williams 49 of Warrenville could not avoid the collision. Sikes fled on foot after the crash. The female victim was hospitalized and died later. Coroner Tim Carlton said he would update the family today.
