Tornado strikes Corinth Baptist Church in New Ellenton
An EF3 tornado damaged Corinth Baptist Church two days before Easter. Roof and sound room destroyed, four education rooms damaged, water intrusion and over 150000 dollars in damages. The congregation of about 400 met in a temporary or old sanctuary and received help from local churches as repairs proceed. Services aim to resume in the new building by June.
