Confederate Memorial Day Observed in Aiken County Ceremony
The Sons of Confederate Veterans will observe Confederate Memorial Day Sunday by laying a wreath at the monument before the Aiken County Judicial Center. The event starts at 1 30 P.M. with period music and welcoming remarks by Mayor Fred Cavanaugh, followed by Col. Robert Kerner.
