Windsor man faces first degree domestic violence charges after a fight with a woman on Windsor Road in front of their child. An Aiken man, 40, charged with cocaine possession and possession of a stolen vehicle after a stop on Edgefield Highway. Augusta woman and Graniteville man report their vehicles stolen from Parker Drive Beech Island. A Graniteville woman reports a vehicle break in on Raiford Loop Road. An Aiken man, 50, reports a woman jumped him on Fairfield Street stealing cash and debit card. A 27 year old Aiken man reports two cellphones and his vehicle stolen from a Whiskey Road motel while a woman allegedly drugged him. A Fabian Drive sporting goods store shoplifting and trespassing arrest. A 42 year old Aiken woman reports a break in on Aldrich Street.
Aiken Public Safety asks for the public to identify a black woman in her 30s who used a stolen South Carolina identity to open accounts at Target Aiken Best Buy and Verizon in Lexington with a fake SC driver's license. The acts occurred March 17 to 19. Contact Officer Brian Hall or CrimeStoppers for anonymity and up to $1000 reward.
A 10th grade student at North Augusta High was transported to a area hospital after falling from upstairs to the atrium during class. The incident prompted a lockdown and ongoing district investigation with counselors on site for staff and students.
Officials say callers reported a white Dodge pickup swerving on U S 83 shortly before a head on collision with a church bus near Con can Texas. The crash killed 13 people including many from New Braunfels, with one bus passenger critical and the pickup driver in stable condition. National Transportation Safety Board investigators arrived to probe the scene outside Garner State Park.
