Tenneco Sanctions Case Involves Pactiv Plant Officials
NLRB sanctions against Tenneco now Pactiv hinge on plant safety and a disputed suspension of McClain. Witnesses including plant manager Joe Garrison and Dr Joe Burley linked the action to security and not union activity. Testimony cited a July 28 meeting over union issues, a psychiatric exam, and a firearm claim amid plant reorganization and a past fatal incident. McClain’s arrest on a warrant and confinement are described as intimidation tactics in the broader union dispute.
