Aiken City considers option agreements and Renaissance plan
City Manager John Klimm notes the Anderson option is under negotiation with a closing price, while the Shah Holley House option has expired with no renewal. The Aiken Renaissance aims to redevelop Laurens Street and Park Avenue and includes a parking garage, with Carbon Properties as preferred developer. A CAT advisory group meets April 5 and a public forum on parking plans set for April 12.
