Two jailed after drugs found in Aiken apartment
A child was removed from the home after officers found marijuana, a glass pipe, and numerous narcotics in an Aiken apartment. David Michael Cook and Michelle Cook were charged with simple possession and held for unlawful conduct toward a child. the child was taken to grandparents.

Stun gun used on man resisting arrest in Aiken incident
Officers responded to a Colleton Avenue dispute about 130 a.m. and found Willie James Dunbar 32 shouting profanity at them. He resisted arrest, entered his apartment, taunted officers through a window, and was tasered to secure handcuffs before being detained at the Aiken County detention center.

Police arrest suspect in York Street shooting case
An Aiken man, Ricky Lorenzo Harden, 22, was arrested in Augusta on charges of second degree assault and battery by mob in a York Street shooting on Oct 21, 2014. The victim was shot in the arm during a narcotics transaction gone sour. Harden and Kenneth Richardson Jr. sought by warrant. Richardson was later arrested and faces multiple charges.

Aiken Man Charged After DUI Crash Destroys Whiskey Road Wall
Christopher Brian Clark, 32, of Clifton Street, was charged with driving under the influence after his blue Honda Fit crashed through a brick wall on Whiskey Road near Easy Street about 4:50 a.m. Thursday. He reported no injuries, failed field sobriety tests, refused a breath sample, and was released by Friday afternoon.
