A Green Pond Road home was broken into with electronics valued over 500 dollars stolen. A pit bull puppy named Little Mama was stolen on Church Street and later reportedly sold by a juvenile suspect. A shooting investigation on North Silverton Street yielded a bullet hole in an RV with no injuries. A burglary at Jefferson Davis Highway auto sales saw tools and electronics disappear over two weeks. Aiken Middle School was ransacked affecting two rooms with two computers and an overhead projector damaged. A UPS delivery dispute on an Aiken resident’s order resulted in a refused package and a 43 dollar charge.

Johnston woman charged in murder case accessory
Denira L. Pixley, 20, of Pats View Loop, jailed on an accessory after the fact charge for allegedly letting Tyrone Wade use her 1998 Plymouth Neon to aid in a murder and flee from South Carolina. Wade and two others faced death charges in Julius Walker death from North Augusta. April 12 deadline noted for church ordering.
