Mickelson wins Bay Hill as charge tops field
Phil Mickelson captured the Bay Hill Invitational with a 7-under 65 finishing 16-under 272 to beat Stuart Appleby by three strokes. He trailed by three with eight holes left before firing a 40-foot eagle on 8 and a four-hole burst to seize victory and a 270000 prize and the event’s blazer and sword.
