Jefferson Named Du Pont Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Edward G. Jefferson will become chairman of the board and CEO of Du Pont on May 1 succeeding Irving S. Shapiro who retires as chairman of the finance committee. Strickland outlines push for outpatient expansion at Aiken Hospital
John E. Strickland, administrator of Aiken Community Hospital, told the Aiken Rotary Club that expanding outpatient services will cut costs for patients and the hospital. The plan adds two outpatient operating rooms, an outpatient recovery area, and 16 500 square feet of new space with 4 000 square feet renovated at an estimated cost of 3 5 million dollars.
