Local youths gain hands on fire training opportunity
A group of nine Explorer Post Fire Training Program members completed the Lina class in the 80 hour South Carolina Fire Academy course fundamentals of basic interior structural fighting. They passed written and performance tests including rapid gear dressing and controlled firefighting within structures.
