Poindexter to testify under immunity in Iran Contra hearings
Former national security adviser John Poindexter plans to testify to the House and Senate committees with limited immunity amid Walsh inquiry findings. Friends say he feels used as a political football and fears a perjury charge if he errs. The White House says he acted under presidential direction. Reagan has said he knew nothing of the arms diversion to the Contras.
