Solicitor requests jury trial in DUI case
South Carolina 11th Circuit Solicitor Donnie Myers, named lead prosecutor in the Justin Craven case, did not appear at a Lexington courthouse as his attorney asked for a jury trial on a February DUI charge. The 70 year old officer had a .09 BAC after a single vehicle crash on Old Chapin Road.

Aiken Woman Charged With Child Neglect After Allleged Threat
Bria Andrews age 19 was charged by Aiken Department of Public Safety with unlawful neglect of a child failure to comply and damaging city property. She is held at the Aiken County detention center. Police responded to a Morgan Street residence after a 72 year old grandmother reported a dangerous situation involving Andrews child. Officers removed the baby from the scene and placed the child in the grandmother custody. Andrews became combative resisting arrest and damaged a car door handle during transport to the detention center.
