Sease's Confederate Veteran Marker Dedicated
Jerry Puttman of the S.C. Sons of Confederate Veterans led a dedication for the Confederate States veteran marker honoring Pvt. Elias Starling Sease of the 5th Regiment S.C. cavalry at Elias Sease Cemetery Lexington on November 22, 2008. Pansy Heywood Moyer of Aiken, Sease’s great granddaughter, had long sought his grave and it was found by Judy Duncan of Monetta, with Hoy and Woodrow Heywood aiding in the cemetery work.
