Aiken tackles fecal bacteria in Horse Creek watershed
Aiken County Infrastructure Committee met at the Horse Creek Water Treatment Plant to review fecal coliform sources in the Horse Creek Watershed. The panel discussed a DHEC study on the Savannah River tributaries and noted five day a week sampling at 11 locations to identify contamination sources and protect public safety.
