Tall Award Grabs Imperial Cup in Aiken feature
In the 10th annual Aiken Hunt Meet Tall Award edged Jacasaba by a nose to win the Imperial Cup. Trained by Jonathan Sheppard and ridden by Leo O Brien the six year old gelding surged from behind to prevail in a crowded field as 7500 spectators watched the Triple Crown of Racing event. The finish came after a controversial start and a brisk stretch fight near the final jump.

Triple Crown Ball at Hounds lake Country Club charges 15 per couple via the Chamber of Commerce. Polo played every Saturday and Sunday.
