AFL CIO President George Meany ready to suggest organized labor withdraw from the 15 member Pay Board after a labor leaders meeting convened by AFCIO. A high labor source quoted Meany as saying he is prepared to recommend resigning from the board.

SAIGON AP reports after 12 days the first phase of the Cambodian operation ends. The South Vietnamese say 743 North Vietnamese and Viet Cong were killed and 23 captured. The second phase of the spoiling campaign to lessen enemy war capability begins.
