Mule Race Headlines Aiken Hunt Meet at Powderhouse

The Aiken Hunt Meet closes with a mule race at Powderhouse polo field. About 15 high quality mules, many around 20 years old, prepared at David Franklin Farm on Columbia Road, will race bareback over roughly 3 sixteenths of a mile plus 30 yards. Riders include novices and veterans, with leads priced at 50 cents to the paddock judge and a trophy to the winner plus proceeds from leads.
