Car theft and distracted crime briefs in Aiken County
A North Augusta man reported his car stolen then returned to the original spot after ramming a gate on Jefferson Davis Highway. A Wagener woman had her purse stolen when she briefly left money for a stranded motorist, who left in a car with an unknown woman. A 60-year-old Augusta woman was detained for disorderly conduct after a conflict with a hospital security officer at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
