North Augusta planning group link vote on overlay amendment

The North Augusta Planning Commission tied on a proposal to amend the Neighborhood Preservation Overlay District for a site on Georgia Avenue west of Briggs to Maddox Street. Mountaineer Pest Services seeks exemption from the overlay to allow General Commercial standards. The panel deadlocked 3-3, suggesting denial but leaving open City Council consideration.
