Savannah River Remediation completes piping tie ins at salt solution receipt tanks preparing for Salt Waste Processing Facility start. Tanks will receive salt solution from liquid waste tanks and feed Saltstone Disposal Facility, boosting disposal capacity from 1.5 to over 6 million gallons yearly as SWPF comes online.

Juveniles Detained Over Marijuana At Aiken High School
Aiken Department of Public Safety reports three juveniles detained Monday after passing a bag of marijuana at Aiken High School. They were booked and released to parents. A 32 year old woman faced shoplifting charges for attempting to steal 117 dollars in clothing on Whiskey Road. Aiken County Sheriff's Office notes include identity theft report in North Augusta, card fraud in Wagener, two burglaries on Gun Range Road in Aiken and Williston Road in Beech Island, a vehicle stolen from Oak Ridge Club Road, and a dirt bike stolen from Off Springs Road.
