Aiken High School baseball suffers a 2 0 defeat to White Knoll Timberwolves ranked eighth in the state. Thomas Timmerman pitches a complete game for Aiken in a hard luck loss as Chris Harrison earns the win for White Knoll improving to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in region play.
Stephen Curry scored 32 points to lift Davidson to a 70-63 win over South Carolina, as the Wildcats built a late run after Downey’s jumper tied the game at 51. Andrew Lovedale added 17 points and nine rebounds as Davidson advances to face St. Mary’s or Washington State.
