Aiken County Coroner seeks help identifying a heavyset white male, 35 to 50, possibly named John Thompson, who died March 13 at the Medical College of Georgia after a head-on crash on Ascanga Lake Road March 5. He lacked ID and next of kin, and no visitors were noted during hospitalization.
Police seek public help about a missing man described as a white male, heavyset, 35 to 50, brown hair, dark eyes. He was driving a 1991 Volvo. If you have information call 642-1740.
The 63rd Aiken Trials weekend at the Aiken Training Track features nice weather, exciting races, and food and fun. Gates open at 10 a.m. with post time at 2 p.m. Organizers anticipate strong turnout and a full field of horses, weather allowing.
