Bayer recalls part of Gamimune N after tampering probe
Federal regulators probe possible tampering of at least 13 vials of Bayer Gamimune N an immune deficiency drug. Bayer recalls about 8000 vials nationwide with limited impact expected. FDA says it is investigating and has no reports of harmed patients. Tampering appeared after the North Carolina plant with two lots from one distributor. The company notes other lots are not affected and recalls followed prior concerns about cloudy vials.
