Not All Suits Are Tailor Made Time Separates Good From Bad
In Chicago a discussion of suit quality contrasts hand cut Oxxford clothes with other firms. Oxxford claims 2900 hand stitches per lapel plus 12 week production, with prices from 800 to 2000. Bart Schaffner & Marx argues wearability and cost balance, favoring durability and value around 300 to 400 dollars while noting fashion changes. Brooks Brothers stresses that newer suits differ mainly in style slightly year to year.
