Nurse and teacher beats cancer to keep guiding students
Bonnie Ryan, a longtime health care professional and educator in Warrenville, battled breast cancer after returning to teaching. She underwent chemotherapy and radiation, shaved by teammates during return, and now leads a Relay for Life team while continuing to mentor local students and support Hospice work.
