SCE&G Eyes Higher Spend for SC Nuclear Project Delays
SCANA Corp CEO Kevin Marsh said he asked regulators for a hearing to revise costs for the V C Summer Nuclear Station project near Jenkinsville. The expected spend rose from about 660 million to 698 million with two more reactors planned, online dates moved to 2019 and 2020. No bill increases will occur until plants are running, and potential tax credits of 1.2 billion plus inflation savings could offset costs.

Delays Push Vogtle Nuclear Project Costs Higher
