Aiken Public Safety investigates an early Monday assault on a 47 year old woman walking near Colleton Avenue and the Aiken County Judicial Center. The suspect is a clean cut white male 25-30, about 5 8 to 5 9 and 140 150 pounds. Police seek tips at 642 7620.

Wise, 21, of Abbeville Avenue, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and malicious injury to real property after allegedly stabbing a woman on the elbow with a large butcher knife. She also allegedly cut tires on another victim's vehicle and was taken to the Aiken County detention center.
