Aiken's annual Triple Crown begins with the Aiken Trials this Saturday March 18 at the Aiken Training Track. Gates open 10 a.m. post time 2 p.m. Tickets cost 4 in advance at the Chamber of Commerce, 5 at the gate for adults and 2 for children aged 6 to 11. The races showcase progeny that often advance to Eclipse Award and national champion status with several events for older horses and early tests for younger contenders.
