Fairfax Paint the Town volunteers repair homes on Charleston Ave
Fairfax SC observers the Paint the Town pilot with over two hundred volunteers from nearby counties. They provide exterior work on 21 stick built homes including painting siding roof repairs and debris removal. Funding comes from a Community Development Block Grant via the South Carolina Department of Commerce. Local churches and organizations contributed time supplies and donations to improve appearance safety and livability along Charleston Avenue aided by Lower Savannah Council of Governments.
