Suspect tied to double pursuit linked to prior crash

William Todd Sanders 49 of North Augusta was charged with multiple counts after a Thursday night chase from Georgia into South Carolina ending when he fled on foot into woods. Police found meth or cocaine, Xanax, Oxycodone, a pistol, a stolen vehicle, and other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Sanders also faced a January pursuit that ended with a crash into a Dollar General store in Aiken.
