Raising Four Teen-Agers Alone Corley as Role Model
Madelene Corley, 37, raises four teens in public housing in Hahn Village with faith and hard work. Her son Ronald, 16, is a high school starter who eyes veterinary medicine. Lekisha, 15, writes poetry and aims to be a business administrator. DeMon, 14, is a state champion boxer who could become a lawyer. Kyrian, 13, pursues gymnastics and singing. She credits the housing with shaping their work ethic and resilience, recalling past privations and emphasizing prayer plus effort to reach goals.
