Obama and Clyburn join Selma event marking Bloody Sunday
Obama spoke at the Edmund Pettus Bridge anniversary in Selma alongside Clyburn and referenced a strong jobs report and his My Brother's Keeper program. Audience members, including a 10-year-old who asked about his presidential path, pressed questions on Keystone XL and college costs as Ferguson and Michael Brown were discussed. Local officials and volunteers framed the moment as a reminder that opportunities and hard work can lead to the American dream.
