New Ellenton is awarded 350000 from a 3800000 SC Rural Infrastructure Authority grant to upgrade its water and sewer plant. Mayor Vernon Dunbar says work will cover spray system repairs and pond liner replacements while council plans a work session to discuss the project. The grants aid 8000 residents and emphasize health and environmental improvements.
