Sea Kayaking Courses Offered This Spring
Tom Holm-Hansen will teach a sea kayaking course Saturday sponsored by the City of Aiken Parks and Recreation Department. Rain Causes Wrecks and Road Closures in Aiken County
Heavy rains blanketed the area with standing water and road closures. A Richland Avenue crash occurred near University Parkway, and ADPS diverted traffic around Beaufort Street. Forecasters say 1 to 3 inches fell by 8 a.m with more possible, followed by a drop to 36 degrees.

South Carolina bill expands tax breaks to lure rural jobs
The measure sponsored by House Speaker David Wilkins would grant higher incentives to the 16 least developed counties, offering up to 4500 per job in those areas while extending enterprise zone breaks to the whole state. Credits drop to 1500 in more developed counties and SKF USA Inc. in Aiken County could gain 1500 per worker hired amid a new industrial park plan near I-20 Bettis Academy Road.

Dose reconstruction study at SRS examined by Dr. Till
