Greater Aiken Estates Neighborhood Association launches
After three years of planning the Greater Aiken Estates Neighborhood Association held its first official meeting on March 2 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Nominees for a new board were presented with Lockard and Arnold chosen as president and vice president. Members discussed dues, bylaws, a calendar of events, and neighborhood goals.

Pastor chosen for 10 day Christian pilgrimage to Holy Land
The Rev Samuel E. Marcengill associate pastor at St. John's United Methodist Church Aiken has been selected for an all expense paid pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Hosted by Aiken Commandery No 14 York Rite Masons with ministers from across the United States. Since 1977 over 1300 ministers from 48 states and DC have received Knight Templar pilgrimages. Marcengill departs Tuesday for the trip.
