Shopper Loses 288 In Theft At Kroger
A 24 year old North Augusta shopper had $288 stolen from her purse left in a child carrier of a shopping cart at Kroger Martin town Plaza around 10 am Tuesday. Sgt Pagano urged care with unattended purses and noted thefts earlier this year and last year. Additionally two cars were broken into with tools taken and a custom motorcycle frame recovered by officers at Edgefield.

Georgia Man Killed in Head-On Wreck near Petticoat Junction
Martin E. Olson 40 of Conyers died at the scene when his car drifted across the center line and collided with a westbound truck on U S Highway 278 near Petticoat Junction. Man Found Dead From Gunshot Near Ex-Wife’s Home
