All-County band concert lessons from Shaffer in one day
About 300 students from across Aiken County gathered at Aiken High School for the All County band program led by David Shaffer of Miami Ohio. Middle and high school players practiced quickly with director guidance and included Shaffer’s compositions while USC Aiken and local educators coordinated for middle school groups. Shaffer stressed teamwork and adapting to produce a finished concert.
