Aiken County Sets March Cold Record After Weekend Storm

The weekend storm drove Aiken County to a record low of 12 degrees in March breaking the prior 20 degree mark from 1975. The county logged 13 inches of precipitation mainly freezing rain and snow as temps rebound to the upper 50s by Tuesday. Civil Defense coordinated nurse and emergency personnel transport with volunteers and four wheel drive vehicles.

Triple Crown Schedule for Aiken Harness and Horse Events
